DON'T MISS THE FIRST EVER MAC FEST!
THIS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 4
10:00AM - 4:00PM

Starting this Saturday, Mesa will join cities like Santa Barbara with a weekly arts and culture festival. The event will take place every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. - May and will host an array of food, live music, and most importantly, original artwork from artists throughout the Valley and Arizona. MACFest will take place on Main Street from Sirrine to Morris in downtown Mesa.

The purpose of MACFest is to provide a free, regularly held celebration in downtown Mesa featuring creations from local artists, food, live music, and fun for the whole family. MACFest will also offer a consistent, easy, and affordable way for the many wonderful artists in Mesa, the Valley, and Arizona to expose and sell their work.

Dog Days...

Dogs and their people everywhere!

Here is some dog art that was showing at OneOhOne gallery. The artwork was created by elementary school students and they were being auctioned as well.

OneOhOne also had visitors from Friends for Life

All the dogs were so happy to see each other, they made new friends and got to show off for each other!
Cool Dogs...Fancy Dogs...Big dogs...Lucky Dogs...

These dogs were from the Arizona Retriever Rescue. They were there to hand out information about their rescue and adopting program.

And my personal favorite was Eagle Tail Mountain Wolf Sanctuary. With tons of information and even some goodies to buy, to help support the wolves.

A good time was had by all, big and small!

Downtown Splashdown!

Here are some photos from last Friday nights Downtown Splashdown water events.
The kids all had so much fun, and the weather was great!
You could take your chance in the dunk tank, but everyone ended up being dunked.
There were also some kids with some serious aim.

The water slide was the most popular...tons of laughing and splashing.

Tonight is the Night Out In Downtown Mesa. In the paper this morning and on the front page is this story
http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/story/118451

Apparently in addition to the Ice Cream Social, a local club is bringing cruising back to Main Street. Let's show up with "Welcome Cruisers" signs and show our support! These aren't the cruisers of 30 years ago. If you've been to any of the cruises held on Main Street you know, it was a great time!
